Agilent’s Optical Network Division (OND) looked for marketing expertise in introducing a new technology and technology product to the market.
CHALLENGE
To position Agilent as the leader in the transparent networking market.
SOLUTION
We named the Photonic Switching Platform, and created its positioning. We created a multi-component marketing communications program including Web site, brochure, technical articles for publications, white paper, interactive demo, and display and PowerPoint presentation. These were all coordinated and completed in 10 weeks.
RESULTS
The product launch stimulated tremendous customer and press interest, sending Agilent’s stock up 46 points in one day.
