Ruty Magidish of Cotton Kidz wanted to expand her children’s clothing market beyond her Berkeley store.
The Hayden Group conducted its Fast-Track branding workshop to understand the Cotton Kidz business, its marketing opportunities and challenges, and position the brand. Working with our partner agency YVOD, we developed a web site that was built from the ground up to reflect her unique brand and position. The Web site currently transacts and fulfills hundreds of orders every month. Using the interactive tools on her Web site, Ruty is able to build and maintain the Cotton Kidz online community, complete with newsletters, discussion boards, and mailing lists. And because Ruty has her hands full creating and manufacturing her original clothing designs—on top of being a mom to three young boys—YVOD hosts the Cotton Kidz Web sites and continually updates inventory.
The Cotton Kidz Web site has only been live and accepting orders for a few months. The Hayden Group continues to work with Cotton Kidz to develop marketing campaigns and to drive traffic to the Web site as well as to the retail and wholesale stores. The Hayden Group is on target to make Cotton Kidz a national brand!
