An early entrant into the enterprise server market, the KIVA Enterprise Server was a high-ticket item, at the time, with no name or market recognition. The brand had to convey not only the value of the product, but also the stability of this young company.
Working in concert with Banc + Otis PR, we helped name the company and develop a core positioning. We designed the logo and a capabilities brochure and packaging, as well as data sheets and white papers. The technology was depicted through a set of rich illustrations that was used throughout the pieces.
KIVA was acquired by Netscape 18 months after the launch.
